Geoff Baskwill

Geoff Baskwill is a seasoned software architect with extensive experience in delivering customer value through well-architected services. Currently serving as a Software Architect at Tackle.io since January 2024, Geoff previously held various roles at Trend Micro from May 2015 to January 2024, contributing as both a Software Architect and Software Developer while leading teams to clarify requirements and develop scalable, reliable cloud software. Prior experience includes positions at Avaya and Nortel, showcasing a diverse background in software management. Early career experience includes a role as a Junior System Administrator at the University of Alberta and a summer position at Myrias Research Corporation, developing a pre-processor for a parallelizing compiler. Geoff holds a BSc in Computing Science from the University of Alberta, completed in 1997.
