Reem Alharithi has a diverse work experience, starting in 2019 as a Student Columnist at West Linn Tidings. In 2020, they worked as a Peer Crisis Intervention Specialist at Lines for Life and as a Medical Scribe/Patient Coordinator at Badia Jabbour, MD, FAAP - Kids First Pediatric Clinic. Reem also obtained the Oregon State Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish and English Language from the Oregon Department of Education in 2021. Reem also became trained in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills from LivingWorks in the same year.

Team Awareness Combating Overdose (TACO) is a 501(c)(3) public health non-profit organization that aims to increase the safety and wellbeing of young adults by providing comprehensive, data-based drug education. Backed by scientific research, college students can save lives by making factually-informed decisions surrounding their personal drug use and be trained in how to respond to a drug overdose. TACO Inc. also distributes free Fentanyl Test Strips to remove barriers for college students in preventing accidental Fentanyl overdoses.
