Hakeem Anderson

Hakeem Anderson, CDP, currently serves as Human Resources Manager at TACO Metals, LLC, overseeing Associate Relations, Human Resources, and Recruiting for a manufacturing facility employing over 125 team members, while also developing training initiatives and policies for a larger workforce of 500+. Hakeem is the Owner of DE&I and YOU, providing support to small businesses in enhancing Diversity, Equity, and Belonging practices. Previous roles include various HR and operations positions from 2014 to 2021, and an undergraduate instructor of Anatomy and Physiology at Sam Houston State University. Hakeem holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management from the University of Mississippi, a Master of Arts in Psychology from Sam Houston State University, and a certificate in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion from the University of South Florida.
