Product Designer/ Drafter at Taco Comfort Solutions

Jaider Obregon has a strong background in product design and drafting, with experience in companies such as Taco Comfort Solutions, Honeywell Safety, and Anvil International. Jaider started their career at Anvil International in 1998, where they worked as a Drafter/Designer and was responsible for developing assembly and detail drawings using 2D drafting and 3D modeling. During their time at Anvil International, Jaider also created bill of materials and documentation for fabrication and installation of designed systems. In 2001, they joined Honeywell Safety as a CAD Specialist, where they focused on developing and modifying AutoCAD, RasterCAD, and SolidWorks files. Jaider also played a role in creating accurate and controlled documents for new product design and reviewing contract drawings submitted for approval. Since 2007, Jaider has been working at Taco Comfort Solutions as a Product Designer/Drafter. In this role, they design thermal mechanical pressure vessels and heat exchangers according to ASME code section VIII. Jaider is also responsible for processing Engineering Change Orders, creating fabrication drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks, and obtaining approval for change requests.

Jaider Obregon has a diverse education history in various fields. Jaider holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Rhode Island. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from Johnson & Wales University. Jaider also obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Technology/Technician from the Community College of Rhode Island. Additionally, Jaider has acquired several certifications, including OSHA 10 from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration in August 2019 and CSWA from Dassault Systèmes in February 2018.
