Maia Espinoza is currently a Trustee at Tacoma Arts Live, and was previously the Director of Constituent Services at Pierce County from December 2018 to November 2019. Prior to that, they were the Legislative Liaison at the Washington State Commission on Theirpanic Affairs from November 2016 to April 2017. In this role, they were responsible for identifying and defining issues concerning the rights and needs of Washington State's Theirpanic Community, as well as advising the Governor and state agencies on the development of relevant policies, plans, and programs that affect Theirpanics.
Maia Espinoza has a Master of Science from Western Governors University in Curriculum and Instruction, a Bachelors of Business Administration from Pacific Lutheran University in Marketing, and an Associate of Arts from Pierce College in Music Theory. Maia is also certified in Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn.
