Joseph Rempe is a seasoned Power Systems Engineer with extensive experience in transmission and distribution (T&D) line engineering. Currently serving as the Lead Distribution Engineer at Tacoma Power since August 1996, Joseph manages key projects including upgrades and relocations of high-voltage infrastructure. Additionally, Joseph holds a leadership role as the Chair of Subcommittee 5 for ANSI Standard C2 - National Electrical Safety Code, representing the American Public Power Association (APPA). Previous roles include a Principal at NESC and Senior Engineer at Puget Sound Power & Light Co., where Joseph developed distribution engineering standards. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems from Iowa State University.
