Athena Sok is a dedicated educator currently serving as a Teacher of Multilingual Students in Tacoma Public Schools since October 2022, where responsibilities include providing instruction aligned with district standards and supporting multilingual learners. Previous experience includes a role as an Assistant Language Teacher with the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program(me) from October 2021 to October 2022, where Athena enhanced English proficiency among Japanese students. Athena holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Gonzaga University and is pursuing a Master of Education in Education Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of Washington.
