Miranda F. is an experienced educator currently serving as a PreK-5th grade Special Education Teacher at Tacoma Public Schools since September 2023. Prior to this, Miranda held the position of Montessori Lead Teacher at Bezos Academy from October 2021 to September 2023. Miranda’s background includes teaching 9th-12th grade Special Education at Highline Public Schools and serving as a Special Education Teacher for middle and high school students through Teach For America. Miranda facilitated emotional and academic support in various educational settings, including managing an inclusive emotional behavioral center. Early in Miranda's career, experiences included nature-based early childhood education and production management within the arts, contributing to a diverse skill set. Miranda holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Boise State University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Production Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
