Sarah Khan-Prine has a diverse work experience in the field of education and healthcare. Sarah started their career as a Teaching Assistant at Eden Autism Services in 2014 and also worked as a Student Teacher at George Washington Elementary School and New Paltz Central School District during the same year. Sarah continued their work as a Teaching Assistant at Eden Autism Services in 2015 and later served as an ABA Therapist at The Uncommon Thread. In 2015, they also worked as a Special Needs Caregiver at All Metro Health Care and as a Preschool Teacher at Five Towns Community Center. In 2018, they became an Educational Therapist at IBI-Imagine Better Impact, LLC and later took on the role of Education Director at Wee Care Preschool. Currently, Sarah is working at Taconic Innovations Inc, where they have held multiple roles including Coordinator of Clinical Services and Supports, Program Administrator, and Senior Program Director.

Sarah started their education at Biotechnology High School, an International Baccalaureate institution, from 2006 to 2010. Following this, Sarah pursued a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching at SUNY New Paltz, where they studied from 2010 to 2014.

Continuing their academic journey, Sarah attended Hofstra University between 2015 and 2017 to complete their Master of Science degree in Education, focusing on Special Education and Teaching. Afterward, they further deepened their knowledge in the field by obtaining early childhood education certifications in 2015, issued by the New York State Education Department.

To expand their expertise and make a broader impact, Sarah recently enrolled at the USC Rossier School of Education. Since 2022, they have been pursuing a Doctor of Education degree with a specialization in Organizational Change and Leadership, which they are expected to complete in 2025.

In addition to their formal education, Sarah has earned various certifications related to their professional pursuits. Sarah obtained certifications in Medication Administration in Day Care Settings and Pediatric First Aid with EPI Pen from NYSOCFS and the National Safety Council in 2016. In 2015, they also acquired certifications in Childhood Education (Grades 1-6) and Early Childhood Education from the New York State Education Department.
