Alfio Illuminati

Alfio Illuminati serves as the VP of Global Operations and Supply Chain at Taconic Biosciences, a position held since May 2023. Prior to this, Alfio was the EVP of Operations and Supply Chain Management North America at BrightFarms, managing six sites with a production capacity of over 25,000 lbs/day of lettuce. Alfio's extensive experience includes roles at Dawn Foods Global as the SVP of Manufacturing Operations North America, overseeing multiple plants and a significant SKU range, and positions at PepsiCo and Mega Alimentos, focusing on innovation and operations. Before transitioning into executive roles, Alfio worked at Mars, where responsibilities spanned production, R&D, and operations management. Alfio holds an Engineer's Degree in Industrial Food Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey, an MBA from Duxx School of Business, and is currently completing the Chief Operating Officer Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
