John Couse

John Couse is the Vice President of Scientific Services at Taconic. John has more than 20 years of experience in research and has authored numerous papers that have received over 2,000 citations. John is a team leader in prioritizing, planning and implementing research efforts toward better understanding the role of estrogen signaling in the development, function, endocrinology and pathology of reproductive tissues. John has established an Ovarian Research Program that has grown to seven investigators, developed several unique animal models, and produced numerous peer-reviewed publications and reviews. John has given over 50 invited platform presentations throughout the U.S. as well as Belgium, Japan, Australia, United Kingdom and Spain. John's research has been the subject of two NIEHS Press Releases (1999, 2005) and profiled on NIH Radio, Medical News Today, WebMD and Fox News.

John Couse has a Ph.D. in Molecular Toxicology from North Carolina State University, a B.S. in Secondary Education - Science from North Carolina State University, an M.S.P.H. in Parasitology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a B.S. in Microbiology from the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh.
