Sue Layland

Sue Layland currently serves as a Research Assistant at Bangor University, focusing on improving educational outcomes for looked-after children and supporting educators in the use of technology for enhanced learning. With extensive experience in social work as a Support Worker for TACT and an approved Foster Carer with Barnardo's, Layland has contributed significantly to child welfare. Previous roles include Project Officer at the Field Studies Council, IT & Network Support at Plas y Brenin, and various positions in retail management. Layland holds multiple degrees from Bangor University, including a PhD in Psychology and a Master of Science in Counselling, along with certifications in systems administration and psychotherapy.
