James Dormer has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. James began their career in the United States Marine Corps as a Major and served until 1999. Following this, they worked as an Instructor at Topgun from 1986 to 1989. James then joined Raytheon as a Senior Capture Manager and stayed with the company for over a decade until 2011. In 2011, they moved to ITT Exelis as a Sr Business Development Manager for a brief period. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as the Vice President of Business Development at Doss Aviation. Currently, James holds the position of Chief Marketing Officer at Tactical Air Support, Inc. since September 2022, and they previously served as the Vice President of Business Development at the same company from December 2014 to January 2023.
James Dormer completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree at Montana State University-Bozeman from 1975 to 1979. Later, they pursued their Master of Arts (MA) degree in Computer Resource & Information Management at Webster University from 1995 to 1996. Finally, they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in the same field at Webster University from 2001 to 2002.
