Alex Hill has worked in the tech industry since 2000. Alex began their career as a Co-op at the Georgia Tech Research Institute in 2000, then was promoted to Research Scientist I in 2003. In 2007, they joined TacMed Solutions\u2122 as Director of Product Development, Software. In this role, they led the TraumaFX software engineer on the TraumaFX Multiple Amputation Trauma Trainer (MATT) used for point of injury care for US Army Medics and Civilian Paramedics. Alex developed system requirements for MATT based on military medical treatment protocols and worked closely with special effects artists to ensure accurate visual and haptic presentation of traumatic injuries as well as ensuring treatments for such injuries work effectively if applied properly.
Alex Hill attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1998 to 2003, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. Alex then attended Kennesaw State University - Michael J. Coles College of Business from 2005 to 2007, graduating with a Master of Business Administration in Economics.
