Simo Koivikko

Simo Koivikko is a seasoned professional in mechanical engineering with a Master of Science degree from the University of Oulu, obtained in 2001. Koivikko has extensive experience in illumination and mechanical design, currently serving as a Senior Specialist and Senior Engineer in Illumination at TactoTek since June 2018. Prior to this role, Koivikko worked at TRANSPORT SAVIKKO YHTIÖT OY as a Transport Planner and truck driver, and operated as an Entrepreneur providing mechanical design and consulting services. Koivikko also held various positions at Nokia from 2000 to 2012, including Senior Specialist in Connectors and Input Mechanics, where significant contributions were made to product specifications, development, and verification of connectors as well as keymat designs, which reached global markets in millions.
