Anjuli Maniam has had a varied and successful career. Anjuli began their career in 2006 as a Design Assistant at PDT Architects. In 2007, they received a research grant from the Australian government to study the impacts of the Chicago Housing Authority's Plan for Transformation as a Byera Hadley Fellow. In 2008, they worked as an Assistant Director at WE THE PEOPLE MEDIA INC. From 2009 to 2013, they were a Freelance Producer in Chicago. From 2013 to 2015, they were the Manager of Exhibitions and Visitor Experience at the Chicago Architecture Foundation. From 2015 to 2021, they were the Director of Exhibition Media and Manager of Exhibition Media at the National September 11 Memorial & Museum. Currently, they are a Project Manager and Strategy Practice Lead at TAD, an audiovisual design studio, where they manage the design and integration of digital and physical experiences for Fortune 500 companies.
Anjuli Maniam received their M. City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania in 2011, with a focus on Urban Design, Community and Economic Development. Prior to that, they earned their B. Design in Architecture from the University of Sydney in 2006, with a focus on Architecture.
