Nick McGuigan

Nick McGuigan is a highly experienced academic and researcher, currently serving as a Senior Researcher at XYX Lab since October 2023 and a Professor at Monash Business School since July 2016. In addition, Nick holds the position of Director of Equity, Diversity & Social Inclusion and has experience as an Associate Professor. With a role as a Member of the Academic Board at TAFE NSW since January 2019 and as a Co-Instigator at The Accountability Institute, Nick fosters collaboration among art, science, technology, and economics within the realm of accountability. Previous experience includes serving as a Senior Lecturer and Deputy Head of Department at Macquarie University from 2011 to July 2016, and as a Lecturer in Accounting at Lincoln University New Zealand from January 2005 to January 2011. Academic qualifications include a B.Com (Hons) in Accounting from the University of Canterbury, a PhD in Accounting from the University of the West of England, a Diploma in Tertiary Teaching, and a Certificate of Adult Teaching from CPIT.
