Matt Harris - McIps

Matt Harris - MCIPS has over 15 years of experience in procurement and contract management. Matt is currently the Director of Procurement and Contract Management at TAFE SA, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to this, they were an Associate Director at KPMG Australia from December 2021 to April 2022.

Before joining KPMG, Matt worked at BAE Systems as a Procurement & Subcontract Manager from April 2020 to January 2022. Matt also served as the Manager Strategic Procurement at the City of Salisbury, South Australia from October 2016 to April 2020, overseeing procurement activities for a diverse community with significant revenue and assets.

Earlier in their career, Matt held roles at Alinta Energy and ASC, focusing on procurement business partnerships, category management, and fabrication subcontracting. Matt also worked as a Procurement Coordinator at Built Environs Pty Ltd and ZF Lemforder.

Throughout their career, Matt has demonstrated expertise in procurement strategy and execution, contract management, and building strategic partnerships. Their experience spans various industries, including energy, defense, and local government.

Matt Harris - MCIPS is a highly educated professional with a strong background in procurement, project management, and business management. Matt obtained their MCIPS certification from the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply in 2023. In 2013, they earned a Diploma in Project Management from FPMS. Prior to that, they completed a Diploma in Business Management from Douglas Mawson Institute of TAFE in 2006. Matt also holds a Diploma in Procurement & Materials Handling Management from the same institute, which they obtained in 2006. Matt's education journey began in Modbury High School, where they completed their secondary education from 1991 to 1996.
