Michael Lederer

Michael Lederer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in security management, consulting, and academia. Currently serving as the Corporate Security Officer at TAG GmbH since March 2020, responsibilities include the development and enhancement of the Information Security Management System (ISMS), ensuring compliance with security regulations, and leading security governance and risk management efforts. Prior to this, Michael worked as a gas industry consultant and project manager at Wagner, Elbling & Company, focusing on strategic advisory and cybersecurity for national and international clients. Academic contributions include roles as a lecturer and researcher at the University of Vienna, where Michael earned a doctorate in astrophysics and conducted observational projects, data analysis, and published research findings. Michael also holds a Master’s degree in astronomy and an engineering degree in technical physics, enhancing a diverse skill set applied across various sectors.
