Richard Plasun

Richard Plasun currently holds the position of Head of Information Technology at TAG GmbH, starting in July 2023. Previously, Richard served as Deputy CIO and Head of Data Center at STATISTIK AUSTRIA from October 2011 to June 2023. Richard's career also includes a role as a Systems Architect at IBM from July 1999 to September 2011, where responsibilities included the analysis, design, planning, and support of customer projects such as migrations and implementation of new applications. Richard's academic background includes a Dr. techn. and DI in Electrical Engineering from Technische Universität Wien, with studies completed from 1995 to 1999 and 1988 to 1994, respectively, and earlier education at HTL Mödling from 1983 to 1988.
