Priya Bhaloo

Priya Bhaloo began their work experience in 2004 as the Vice President at TAG HR, a leading supplier of administrative, professional, and IT services in North America. In 2010, they transitioned to the role of Chief Operating Officer at the same company. During their time at TAG HR, Priya demonstrated a commitment to excellence and built long-term business and social relationships.

In 2015, Priya joined the Women's Business Network of Ottawa as Secretary to the Executive. Priya then advanced to the role of Vice President of Strategic Initiatives in 2016. Priya'sresponsibilities included assisting the President in overseeing the management and administration of the organization and serving as the Executive Liaison for various committees. Priya contributed to facilitating meaningful networking opportunities and raising awareness for women in business.

In 2016, Priya also worked as an Activator at Coralus, an initiative called SheEO that supports female entrepreneurs worldwide through funding and mentorship. Priya played a part in creating a loan fund to support women-led ventures and aimed to involve one million women globally in supporting female entrepreneurs.

More recently, in 2017, Priya became the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors at the Ottawa Board of Trade. In this role, they showed their dedication to the organization's mission and goals.

Priya Bhaloo earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance with a minor in Management Information Systems from the University of Ottawa between 1999 and 2003.
