Venu Gutlapalli

Venu Gutlapalli has been in the tech industry since 1994. Venu began their career as a Software Engineer at Park Controls & Communication (P) ltd. In 1998, they moved to Qualcomm as a Senior Engineer. In 2003, they were promoted to Pricipal Engineer/manager. From 2000 to 2011, they worked at Kyocera Communications, Inc. as a Staff Engineer. In 2011, they moved back to Qualcomm as Director of Customer Success, where they integrated 200+ Qualcomm and Aethros connectivity worldwide teams. Venu was responsible for creating the initial processes, methodologies, tools and team to ensure this effort was successful, as well as leading the effort through the conceptual phase to beta to production and eventually managing a worldwide deployments of flagship devices from several Top Tier Mobile vendors. During their 3 year tenure, Mobile/Computing and Location business grew from USD250million to nearly Billion dollars. In 2012, they were promoted to Global Head of Customer Success. In 2020, they became the CEO and Co-founder of Tag-N-Trac.

Venu Gutlapalli attended classes at the University of Southern California from 1999-2000 in the field of Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications. Venu then went on to receive a Bachelor's of Technology from Mangalore University from 1990-1994 in the field of Computer Engineering.
