Joseph Kossmann has a diverse work experience in various roles and internships. Joseph is currently working as an Account Manager at TAG Strategies since November 2021. Joseph also interned for Congressman Andrew Garbarino at the U.S. House of Representatives from March 2021 to July 2021. In 2020, Joseph interned as a Campaign Intern for Congressman Andrew Garbarino's successful campaign in NY-02, where they performed duties such as Red-Dialer, walk arounds, attending campaign events, and desk work at the campaign office. In 2019, they worked as an Intern for Congressman Peter King at their district office and the DC office, where they sorted case work for constituents, organized data, and assisted with communication with constituents. In 2018, Joseph worked as an intern for Congressman Dan Donovan in their DC office, where they communicated with constituents, observed and created summaries of hearings, organized files, made schedules, and performed other office work.

Joseph Kossmann attended Chaminade High School from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Joseph then pursued higher education at The George Washington University from 2017 to 2021, focusing on International Relations and Affairs, as well as German. In 2019, Joseph participated in a Study Abroad program at Kanda University of International Studies.
