Derek Howe

Derek Howe, MBA, serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of the Taggart Group of Companies, where expertise in client satisfaction and value has been demonstrated since October 2017. In addition, Derek is a faculty member at the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa, contributing to a dynamic academic environment. Previous leadership roles include Chief Operating Officer at Zibi Canada, Partner in Finance at Windmill Development Group, and Vice President at Broccolini Construction Inc. Derek's career began as a Structural Engineer at WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff and a Restoration/Building Science Engineer at Keller Engineering Associates Inc. Derek holds an Executive MBA in Finance from the Ivey Business School at Western University.
