Marketing Director, APAC & Middle East at Tagit

Jalpa Shah has a diverse background in marketing and communications. Jalpa began their career at Citigate Dewe Rogerson, where they worked in research and public relations from 2004 to 2005. Jalpa then moved on to the Multi Commodity Exchange of India, serving as an Assistant Manager in marketing communications for a brief period in 2006. In 2007, Jalpa joined the Singapore Mercantile Exchange as a Senior Associate in marketing communications, where they stayed until 2011. Jalpa then worked as a PR & Marketing Consultant at Kiaan Communications from 2012 to 2014, handling multiple high-profile clients and implementing successful PR campaigns. Jalpa went on to work as an Assistant Manager in PR & Internal Communications at CIMB Bank Singapore from 2014 to 2015. From 2016 to 2018, they served as a Marketing Communication Manager at Talariax Pte Ltd, where they developed comprehensive marketing strategies and executed digital and content marketing campaigns. Currently, Jalpa is employed at Tagit Pte Ltd, where they initially started as a Marketing Manager in 2018 and later moved up to the position of Marketing Director for the APAC & Middle East region.

Jalpa Shah completed their education in a sequential manner. Jalpa obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communications from Xavier Institute of Communications in 2004. Prior to that, they pursued a Masters in Commerce degree with a focus on Banking and Finance from Sydenham College between 2002 and 2004. Jalpa Shah commenced their undergraduate studies at H.R. College in 1997 and completed a Bachelors of Commerce degree specializing in Accounts and Taxation in 2002. Additionally, they acquired several certifications including LinkedIn Marketing Solutions Fundamentals, Human Factors International-Certified Usability Analyst (CUA), Agility in Marketing, The Story Skills Workshop, and Introduction to User Experience Design.
