Larry Akerman

Larry Akerman is a seasoned financial executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as CFO at Taglit-Birthright Israel since May 2015, Larry also co-founded Tech for Good in May 2014, the first Israeli fund focusing on social-tech initiatives. Prior positions include CFO at Pelephone from April 2008 to April 2014, VP Finance at Direct Insurance from September 2006 to March 2008, and VP Finance at Kodak Israel from January 2005 to October 2006. Earlier in career, Larry held the role of CFO at Barak 013 from 2000 to 2004. Larry holds a BA in Accounting from Bar-Ilan University, obtained between 1988 and 1991.
