Abhishek Kar

Abhishek Kar has a wealth of experience in the power electronics industry. Abhishek began their career in 2008 as an Engineering Trainee at Wartsila India Limited in Navi Mumbai. In 2009, they were promoted to Executive Engineer at Wartsila Ind Limited. In 2014, they joined the Department of Science and Technology as a Research Fellow. In 2019, they began working at Tagore Technology as a Power Electronics Application Engineer and Visiting Power Electronics Researcher. Abhishek also took on a role as a Special Auditing Student at Hiroshima University in 2019.

Abhishek Kar obtained their Doctor of Philosophy from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur in 2021. Their field of study was SiC, GaN based High frequency power electronic converters, resonant converters. Prior to that, they obtained their ME from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur in 2014, where their field of study was Power Electronics.
