Zeina Shalaby

Zeina Shalaby is a Co-Founder of Tagreba, a social platform that connects high school students with extracurricular activities, a role held since June 2022. In January 2023, Zeina completed a credit internship at Nasser Social Bank-Egypt, where responsibilities included assessing the risk and return of loans and processing governmental paperwork. Zeina was also a Tomorrow’s Leaders Gender Scholar at the American University in Cairo from September 2021 to July 2022, receiving a merit scholarship and participating in gender and leadership trainings. As a team leader for the Map the System competition at The John D. Gerhart Center for Philanthropy, Zeina engaged in training on Systems Thinking and mapping. Prior experience includes an internship with MUN Inc., where facilitation of a Personal Finances Program took place in schools. Zeina Shalaby is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at the American University in Cairo, with prior education at Al Bashaer International School and participation in the Yale Young Global Scholars program.
