Amrita Samuel

Amrita Samuel has a diverse work experience in the field of Human Resources, starting their career as a Search Executive at Ernst & Young in 1999. Amrita went on to hold managerial roles in Human Resources at RPG Retail Group, Sify Limited, and Wipro Technologies. Amrita served as Assistant General Manager of Group Human Resources at Murugappa Group before joining The Lighthouse Organisation as a Director. Later, they worked at Wipro in various roles, ultimately becoming Global Head & General Manager for Business HR in the Digital Operations & Platform business unit. Currently, at Tag, Amrita serves as Head People & Culture - India.

Amrita Samuel completed their Junior School education at Carmel Convent in Chandigarh from 1981 to 1988. Amrita then pursued their Higher Secondary education at Anna Adarsh School in Chennai from 1990 to 1992. Following this, they earned a Diploma in Hotel Management from the Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology in Madras from 1992 to 1995. Later, they obtained a Master's degree in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from Madras School of Social Work from 1997 to 1999. Most recently, they completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Buddhist Psychology from BALM: The Banyan Academy of Leadership in Mental Health in 2021. Amrita also holds an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) certification from the International Coaching Federation, obtained in January 2021.
