Hussam Turki has a diverse work experience that spans several companies. Hussam began their career as an intern at Arab National Bank in 2005. In 2007, they joined SABIC as an Application Specialist before moving on to KACST, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer for over a decade. During their time at KACST, they were responsible for performing feasibility studies, conducting SWOT analyses, and managing project activities. In 2018, Hussam joined TAHAKOM, initially serving as the Systems Design & Synergy Manager and later assuming the role of Acting Director of Systems Design and Synergy. In these positions, they oversaw system engineering activities, worked on business requirements and architecture, managed budgets, recruited talent, and resolved conflicts. Hussam also directed and supervised department projects, evaluated feasibility, and coached junior employees.
Hussam Turki holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Advanced Computer Science from The University of Sheffield, which they obtained in 2011. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Software Engineering at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals - KFUPM in 2007. Additionally, Hussam has certifications as a Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance, obtained in 2017, and as a PMP Project Manager Professional from the Project Management Institute.
