Michelle Joy

Michelle has over 20 years of healthcare experience. She joined the Carson Tahoe team in January 2015. Michelle began her healthcare career with the Iowa Health System (now Unity Point) in Des Moines, Iowa. In 2000, she assumed the Director of Planning and Marketing position at Banner Lassen Medical Center in Susanville, California, later serving as Associate Administrator and then Chief Executive Officer. Michelle continued her career with Banner Health serving as Chief Executive Officer in Sterling, Colorado; Associate Administrator at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, Colorado and then Chief Operating Officer at McKee Medical Center in Loveland, Colorado. Michelle holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Grinnell College, Grinnell, Iowa and a Master of Health Administration from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa. She is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). In 2011, she received the ACHE Colorado Regent’s Award for Young Healthcare Executive.
