Sharad Rai

Sharad Rai has a diverse work experience, starting with their current roles as the Chief Executive Officer at TAI Inc. and Asha & Company since 2020. Sharad also founded Terakoya Academia Inc. in 2019 and continues to hold that position. Previously, they were a PHD candidate at The University of Tokyo from 2019. Sharad also founded YouMe Nepal in 2011. Sharad gained valuable experience at SoftBank from 2014 to 2019, where they were involved in marketing planning and new business development.

Sharad Rai pursued their education in a systematic manner, starting with their undergraduate studies at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University from 2007 to 2011. Here, they completed a degree in APS (International Strategy Studies) with Honors.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Sharad Rai attended The University of Tokyo from 2012 to 2014, where they pursued a degree in International Studies with a focus on Resource Governance.

To further enhance their knowledge and expertise in the field of education, Sharad Rai returned to The University of Tokyo in 2019, where they have been pursuing a PhD in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. This program is expected to be completed by 2022.
