Abdullah Almalki

Abdullah Almalki currently serves as the Chair of the Department of Media and Communication and Corporate Communications Officer at Taibah University since May 2020. Prior experience includes roles as an Assistant Professor and Doctoral Candidate at Temple University from August 2016 to May 2020, focusing on research related to social media and journalistic professionalism. Abdullah's academic journey began with positions as a Graduate Assistant at Arkansas State University from January 2014 to May 2016 and as a Teaching Assistant at Taibah University from March 2011 to June 2012. Abdullah holds a PhD in Media and Communication from Temple University, as well as a Master of Science in Mass Communication from Arkansas State University and several teaching-related certificates. Abdullah obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communication with a focus on Public Relations from Umm Al-Qura University.
