Imran Hamid

Imran Hamid is an accomplished information technology professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Head of Information Technology and Senior Project Manager at Taif University since May 2017, Imran oversees the reliability and security of hardware and software systems while enhancing educational tools and providing training. Prior to this, Imran held the position of Senior Systems Analyst at metaSOFT International, managing healthcare information technology implementations across major hospitals in Saudi Arabia. Earlier career highlights include serving as an ERP Specialist at AlNasserCo and Noortek, where responsibilities included developing and integrating ERP solutions, as well as coordinating the implementation of Oracle EBS R12 at AlQahtani. Imran’s foundational experience began as a Team Mentor at vCustomer Services India Pvt. Ltd. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Quantum Memory from The University of Texas, a Master of Business Administration in Project Management from the Maharashtra Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
