Serge Hetu

Serge Hetu has extensive work experience in engineering and program management. Serge is currently working as a Senior Engineering Program Manager at Taiga Motors since April 2021. Prior to their current role, Serge worked at ECOPAK from September 2014 to April 2021 as a Directeur d'ingénierie, where they established product development and idea capturing processes, set strategic priorities for new product development, and supported the technical team in patent applications and government documents. Before that, they were a Project Leader at Camoplast from September 2010 to September 2014, where they developed mechanical systems for agricultural tracks and managed system costs. Serge also worked at Bombardier Recreational Products, starting in January 1994. Serge held various roles at Bombardier, including Senior Engineer, Project Leader for Engineering ATV, Project Manager for ATV, and Watercraft Engineer. In these roles, they contributed to the development of new components, solved production problems, and collaborated with cross-functional teams.

Serge Hetu attended CEGEP de Saint-Laurent from 1984 to 1987, where they obtained a Diplôme d’études collégiales in Techniques de génie mécanique. Serge then continued their education at École de technologie supérieure from 1987 to 1991, earning a Baccalauréat in Automation of the production.
