Syed Ali, PharmD

Syed Ali, PharmD, has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Syed began their career at Walgreens in 2004, where they served as a Pharmacy Manager, overseeing a high-volume 24-hour pharmacy. Syed was also involved in district-wide projects and collaborated with Well-Care Insurance Team for promotional initiatives. In 2016, Syed transitioned to the role of Area Healthcare Supervisor at Walgreens Boots Alliance, where they were responsible for enhancing pharmacy operations and providing exceptional customer care. Syed also served as the Manager of Retail Operations, supervising staff and improving pharmacy sales. In 2019, Syed joined Medicos Specialty Solutions as a Senior MSL, a role they held until 2020. Syed then joined Pfizer as the Director of Field Medical for Immuno-Inflammation, a position that they held until 2022. Syed's most recent role is with Taiho Oncology, Inc. as the Senior Director of the National Medical Field Team, where they are responsible for translating medical team strategies, developing and executing medical field components in product launch plans, and driving process improvements within the organization.

Syed Ali, PharmD has a Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD) from the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science & Technology, Islamabad. Syed also has a PharmB degree from Karachi University. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in HIV Pharmacotherapy from the University at Buffalo in October 2012, Immunization from the NY state board of Pharmacy in August 2012, and Applied Drug Store Management from Walgreens in August 2008.
