Hunter Taylor

Hunter Taylor has been in the engineering industry since 2012. In that time, they have held a variety of roles. Hunter began as an Intern at Virginia Aero Classics LLC in 2012. In 2013, they were a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at MEC (Mayville Engineering Company, Inc.). From 2015 to 2018, they were a Materials Engineer at MATSYS INC. During 2018, they were also a Research Assistant at The University of Texas at El Paso in the W. M. Keck Center for 3D Innovation with a focus on metal additive manufacturing. Most recently, in 2019, they became the Owner/Co-Founder of Tailored Alloys.

Hunter Taylor attended Virginia Tech from 2012 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering. Hunter then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy in Materials Science and Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
