Matthew Lawson

Matthew Lawson's work experience includes positions at Tails.com, A.Lawson & Son, and HCAAR (UoL & NHS).

At Tails.com, they started in 2014 and held various roles, including Head of Manufacturing Engineering from January 2020 to present, Manufacturing Innovation and Improvement Manager from October 2016 to December 2019, Design Engineer from October 2014 to October 2016, and Operations Specialist from July 2014 to September 2014.

At A.Lawson & Son, they became a Partner in October 2008 and their tenure there is ongoing.

At HCAAR (UoL & NHS), they worked as a Design Engineer from May 2012 to September 2012. In this role, they were a member of a design engineering team focused on redesigning in-home robotic rehabilitation units for stroke victims and people with cerebral palsy. The team collaborated with mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and medical staff, and their work was showcased at NI Week in Austin, Texas.

Matthew Lawson completed their A-Level education at Ashville College from 1994 to 2010, achieving a degree with A*AA grades. Following that, they pursued further studies at the University of Leeds from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Master of Design degree in Product Design.
