Bernard McVerry

Bernard McVerry is a skilled Geomatics Surveyor with extensive experience in offshore surveying and data collection. Currently employed at Tailte Éireann since April 2023, Bernard has previously worked with Ordnance Survey Ireland and UTEC, where roles included Survey Party Chief and Offshore Surveyor. Professional expertise includes the use of global positioning systems, sonar, and echo sounders to produce navigational charts and maps, along with comprehensive job reporting. Prior experiences include a summer placement with NCS Survey Limited as a trainee Hydrographic Surveyor and as a Trainee Surveyor with McALLISTER. Bernard holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Surveying and Mapping Science from Newcastle University.
