Lawrence B. Sorrel

Larry co-founded Tailwind and is a Managing Partner and CEO of the Firm and a member of the Management Committee.

Larry has been active in the private equity business for more than 30 years and has served as a board member of 50 private equity-backed companies. He began his career at Morgan Stanley where he was a Managing Director and a senior executive in the private equity business. After Morgan Stanley, Larry worked at Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe as a General Partner and member of the investment and management committees.

Larry is a graduate of Brown University, the Harvard Law School and the Harvard Business School.
