Ross Matican

Ross Matican is the Founder and CEO of Tailwinds, a company focused on helping technical founders understand total addressable markets through competitive intelligence and market education since March 2025. Prior to this role, Matican served as a Content Manager on the Platform Team at Bessemer Venture Partners from July 2022 to February 2025, where responsibilities included managing cross-functional program development and educational resources. Matican also held the position of Board Treasurer for Or Shalom Jewish Community, overseeing budget management and strategic decisions. Additional experience includes roles at Carta as a Corporate Affairs Research Analyst, and as a reporter for The Information, covering tech and finance. Matican's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology from Carleton College and participation in a Buddhist Studies program in India.
