Jacob Obermeier

Jacob Obermeier has extensive experience in the entertainment industry, specifically in control engineering and automation. Currently serving as Control Engineering Manager at TAIT since October 2017, Jacob has also held the roles of Controls Engineer and Support Integrator within the same organization. Prior to this, Jacob worked at Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group from November 2012 to October 2017, where responsibilities included Head of Automation for the Kurios-Big Top production, along with positions as Automation Technician, Lighting Technician, and Lighting and Projection Technician. Earlier career experience includes serving as Head Electrician/Rigger at Feld Entertainment from July 2008 to November 2012. Jacob holds a degree from Full Sail University, earned between 2006 and 2008.
