Markus Karppinen

Markus Karppinen has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Markus started their career as a Photo Lab Technician at Superkuva from 2006 to 2009. Markus then joined Descom Oy in 2012 as a User Experience Specialist, where they worked until 2015. During this time, Markus also took on the role of Solution Architect, responsible for programming, customer communication, and project management. In 2016, Markus joined Solteq Oyj as a Team Leader, leading and coaching a team of 30 specialists handling multiple eCommerce projects. Over the years, they transitioned into the role of Full Stack Manager, combining management and technical duties. Markus also served as a Solution Architect at Solteq, taking on more responsibilities in projects and Scrum Master duties. In 2021, they joined Taitopilvi Oy as a Full Stack Manager.

Markus Karppinen attended Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences from 2010 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Information Technology. In addition to their degree, Markus also obtained certifications as an IBM Certified Application Developer - WebSphere Commerce V7 (FEP 7) from IBM in October 2015 and as a Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance in September 2015.
