Ruben Vargas

Ruben Vargas has a diverse work experience in software engineering and development. Ruben began their career in 2012 as an Intern at UBS Financial Services. In 2014, they were a Junior Development Intern at Prized and a Software Engineering Intern at Taivara. At Taivara, they were responsible for developing with a wide variety of technologies to help clients meet their business goals through software. Theirfinal project at Taivara was leading client-facing project management for a sports statistics startup along with development. In the same year, Ruben was promoted to Director of Software Design & Delivery at Taivara. In this role, they were responsible for leading software development and delivery for early-stage concepts from ideation through launch, addressing feasibility, viability, desirability, design, development, and operations. Theirqualifications include full-stack web (Rails, React, SCSS), mobile (Objective-C, Swift), and Devops (several AWS services, Chef, Vagrant, Docker).

Ruben Vargas attended The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business from 2011 to 2015.
