Annie Chang

Annie Chang is a UX Design Intern at Hugsi since June 2024 and a UX Researcher at the UW - School of Art + Art History + Design, where innovative sensor prototypes have been developed for context-aware camera interactions. Currently serving as a Barista at UW Cafe, Annie also holds leadership positions as an Officer and Creative Director in the Taiwanese Overseas Student Association, managing major events and collaborating within a large team. Previously, as a Product Designer for Design for America, Annie designed a communication device for international students, incorporating user research and extensive prototyping. Other experiences include a summer internship at Upkey focusing on business model development for TravFriends and a role as a Software Programmer for the Cedar Park Robotics team. Annie is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Engineering at the University of Washington, expecting to graduate in June 2026.
