Kathlene Rooplal

Kathlene Rooplal is an experienced software quality engineer with a strong focus on mobile applications, automation, and API testing. Currently employed at takealot.com since August 2019, Kathlene holds the positions of Senior Software Quality Engineer for both Native Apps and Web API, as well as having previously served as a Software Quality Engineer for Native Apps. Prior experience includes serving as a Software Quality Analyst at Derivco from January 2016 to July 2019, where responsibilities included leading testing efforts, creating test plans, identifying risks, and ensuring comprehensive communication with stakeholders. Kathlene also has a background as a Software Tester at Telesa Comms (Pty) Ltd and possesses a strong educational foundation from CTI Education Group and Pinetown Girls High School. Proficient in various testing tools such as Jira, Postman, and Load Runner, Kathlene is adept at both manual and automated quality assurance practices.
