Caroline Ojaimi

Caroline Ojaimi PhD is a seasoned professional in scientific communications and medical affairs, currently serving as the Head of Global Scientific Communications, Congresses and External Engagement at Takeda Oncology since April 2021. Previous roles include Director of Oncology Medical Affairs, Strategy & Operations at Eisai US, and key positions in scientific communications at Novartis Oncology and Bristol-Myers Squibb. Caroline has also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at New York Medical College and Pace University, directing a bioinformatics course and managing a microbiology lab. With extensive experience across various therapeutic areas, including oncology and infectious diseases, Caroline has led global communication strategies and publication initiatives at several pharmaceutical companies, starting from a foundational role in genomic research and development at New York Medical College. Caroline holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and a Bachelor's degree with Honors in the same field from the University of Melbourne.
