Michael Alaimo

Michael Alaimo is a seasoned Senior Medical Science Liaison specializing in hematology and oncology, currently employed at Takeda Oncology since August 2018. With a robust background in immuno-oncology, Michael has established collaborative relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals, contributing to clinical trial site selection and activation, as well as the evaluation of investigator-initiated research. Prior experience includes roles at Teva Pharmaceuticals and Dendreon, where responsibility encompassed medical support for oncology products and education on the first FDA-approved cancer vaccine. Michael's scientific career began with roles in analytical and process chemistry at companies such as Pfizer and Vertex Pharmaceuticals, complemented by early research positions at Harvard Medical School and USDA-ARS.
