Bertrand Sailly

Bertrand Sailly serves as the Associate Director Safety & Medical QA Lead Affiliates - GVP/GCP at Takeda since March 2020, focusing on the development and operational success of GCP and GVP functions worldwide. Previously, Bertrand held the position of Associate Director R&D Safety & International QA at Shire, managing audits related to pharmacovigilance and clinical trial safety. Bertrand’s extensive experience includes leading pharmacovigilance audits at Pierre Fabre, project management at Quintiles, and roles in clinical trials and pharmacovigilance at GlaxoSmithKline and Rhone-Poulenc Rorer. Bertrand began a career in health service as an epidemiology specialist with the French Army. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Pharmacy and a BioMedical Master's from Paris-Sud University, complemented by certification as a Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2015.
