Cheng Yang

Cheng Yang is a highly experienced professional in the field of biomedical engineering and diagnostics, currently serving as the Digital Diagnostics Lead and Principal Engineer at Takeda Pharmaceuticals from May 2019 to July 2024. In this role, Cheng Yang has successfully led global diagnostic device and software development projects, managed strategic partnerships, and guided cross-functional teams to address clinical needs. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Engineer II at Cam Med LLC, where Cheng Yang contributed to the design of drug delivery devices, and co-founding StreamSense Medical, LLC, which focused on innovative point of care diagnostics. Cheng Yang also has a strong academic background, with a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Virginia and an MBA in Health Analytics from Duke University.
